Had I have been a judge it would have been a huge red flag that she had so much anxiety that she could not go on stage. I would have been wondering how much it was potentially going to happen in the future and how much 💰 might be lost as a result. The music industry would probably shy away and ALOT could be lost. Newcomers can't take the chance of revealing such things as anxiety and bipolar etc. like Mariah Carey can and get more gigs because they haven't established themselves in the business. I would not have chosen either one of them. I would have chosen Kirk and the young lady who's mother was in prison. Im sorry I don't remember her name.

Telling kirk he is going to win hands down in front of Chris. My point is all the coaches do this and so I find it odd that they are singling out Adam.

Very upset here. This contest is called the voice, if you don't have it during a competition, I believe that that person should be disqualified. Reagan should not be on the show right now. I'm trying to think of other competition shows where people are sick they get a pass. Cooking shows don't do it. Other talent shows don't do it. I really think this whole thing is rigged. Anna, right before they announced the winner the vote was 1% apart. As in any contest, race, etc, if you cannot participate; you are out. Adam was wrong no matter who it might have been. I was a big fan of Adam and The Voice. But, I am done. Real talent doesn't always prevail in this show anyway.

I don't know what it is about this show but there are very talented people that get voted off the show way before the not quite as talented. I don't know if the Voting is rigged, are there is a flaw in how they do the voting but there is something wrong. I think a large part of the problem is a lot of 14 year old kids are voting for teenagers no matter what their talent level. Whatever it is all I know is we see very talented people leave the show before they should. I think they should raise the age of eligibility.

I think it's also important to note, Adam screwed three people that night. DeAndre the worst of course because damn, Adam was his coach and just threw him under the bus. But he also screwed Dave Fenley, and Dave's coach Blake by telling people to vote for the kid who didn't sing rather than the two guys who did. Three people basically got screwed with their pants on all because of Adam and frankly, if the Voice doesn't fire Adam, I will never watch the show again. I have already removed ALL Maroon 5 songs from my music collection and playlists.

It's ok to express your feelings. You can do so without being nasty. Adam was so wrong for how he handled this. He is all about wining, doesn't like to be at the bottom or counted out. He felt that because Deandre had been in the bottom a couple times that his chances of winning wouldn't be good that he might not even be represented in the finals if he was riding on Deandre. That's that honest truth. It's ok to decide to play (what you feel is) your better hand the lack of tact and class in which he did it is flat out unexcusable. Had any other coach had a contestant unable to perform this would never have happened they would have been eliminated. A very popular cliché goes like this: "Life is unfair!". Reagan, this was the case with you that night! Things don't always go as we wish. I'd elaborate. For example, we all have an examination to write, I've, unknowingly, revised better than everyone in the class and, most likely, WILL attain the highest grades should I write the exam, however, I've fallen ill and will not be able to. Sad! Unfair! Unfortunate! YET, THAT'S LIFE! "Life is unfair". Let me now make the connections: God knows how well Reagan would have performed and how hard she practised, hOWEVER, things don't always go as we wish, she fell ill, with whatever she fell ill with, disabling her from being able to perform: "Life is unfair", and things like this happen at times. To conclude, Adam Levine... supposing this was an examination like the example I used earlier, eventhough Reagan wasn't able to write the exam would you have STILL graded her (For an examination that she never wrote because she fell ill at the last minute and, although she practised reallyyyy hard for it, wasn't able to write it because "life is unfair" sometimes and things don't always go as we want them to)???? All whilst depriving Deandre, who WROTE the exam, his fair mark???? And while we're imagining here, lets also imagine that this paticular exam wasn't one for which students who missed it could recieve a 'make-up-exam'. Just plain unfair! BUT, I forgot to mention, NBC is a great fault as well, for allowing Reagan to be voted for when she couldn’t sing. They hurt their own show, the credibility of the show, and the show will probably never be the same. The decisions made that night, doomed the Voice. I have just watched this on KZbin for the first time. I also have read this on Google. In my opinion, I never really had watched "The Voice" nor was I a fan of Adam Levine and his music, ever since he showed his face in the rock band Maroon 5 in the early 2000's. Long story short, Adam Levine is nothing but a selfish jerk, if anything, he screwed that contestant over by throwing him under the bus, when it should have been himself instead, honestly. I literally have little or no respect for him as a person, a husband or even a father. He's been nothing but a Ebenezer Scrooge, Grinch, a pain in the neck, smear on the sports page & a nasty, tainted, bad blood stain on the floor and the wall just lying there not being bleached or cleaned up or even taken to the cleaners, sorry :-).

One of his worse performances was I can only imagine... When he chose to to take a Christian song and sing it to a girl, and take the focus off of Jesus. Even Jennifer commented on it. And Adam let's his other Artists some Christian music. He won with Jordan Smith who sang multiple Christian songs and is now a Christian recording artist. DeAndrea was in the bottom the last few weeks. It was his time to go.

Adam always put through the worst people on his team anyway and his decisions on the show always disappoint during the playoffs... so wouldn’t be too bummed if he left. The only thing that would be a problem for me is that he was an original coach and it would be weird to have Blake and not Adam. But every single season he always lets me down with his decisions, like choosing Tyke over Radha, and then what he did to Deandre. Sad

It may be petty of me, but I don't even think an apology could fix this. The only thing that can help Adam is if he does the right thing, and takes a revote for DeAndre and Dave, sending Reagan home. I have never seen them dress up sick contestants and parade them in front of cameras. If you don't perform, you don't move on. That's how it's always been.
