His friends and family laugh with him and clap him on the back because he charms them in the moment. Exactly. Yes he's a dog, but when you see a dog coming, you're responsible for how you involve yourself. All the moralists in the comments never seem to mention how important sharing the same values is. She's a lovely, God fearing girl, and he's a bit of an elitist in the sense that; travel, books, intellectual curiosity are his thing. If he ever does find someone who he actually wants to be exclusive with, they're probably going to really need to have both sides.
