Thank you so much! There are so many days I struggle to keep it together. But, I truly believe every day is such a wonderful gift. I am always praying for the sweet Lord to make me stronger. ♥️♥️ I just pray I can keep sharing with y’all. It’s my saving grace. 🥰

Nichole, Your home looks beautiful with that creamy white color. I love all of the projects you would like to do, so much work so be careful. Be careful when painting your concrete, sometimes it chips and fades easily. I saw where someone mentioned concrete stain and that might hold up better. Looking forward to to seeing how everything turns out. 😊❤😊🍃🪴🌼

Love the new paint color! Your house looks so pretty! Not sure I’d take the time to paint checkerboard pattern on walkway. I think just power wash and possibly stain. Don’t know that you’d even notice the walkway as much once you add a few flowering plants to your flowerbed. Great job Nicole!

Thank you so much! I am still on the fence about the walkway. 🫣 That’s why I am moving slowly on the projects. Just to make sure exactly what I really want. I did reach out to a professional contractor that does faux concrete stain work. We will see.

Your future door choice is gorgeous! My dream is to have a composite deck to replace my current wood and paver and brick tiered deck. It’s over 30 years old and too high maintenance for me any more. ( I am 75 and healthy but want less really hard maintenance). I love hydrangeas too but mine have stopped blooming over the last few years. They were a gorgeous blue.

I love the blue hydrangeas too♥️. Our thoughts on everything we are doing to our home is… while we are working. Get the house all taken care of… then enjoy retirement. Thank you so much for allowing me to share with you ♥️♥️

Nicole you have A beautiful home, inside & out.. and the property is truly a beautiful piece of land! I really love the color, and the windows are so pretty. That's the only thing I miss about where i lived in NC, we had 40+acres of beautiful land in the country that i just loved. And we did soooo much work on it. It definitely takes time & saving girl! I an obsessed with your Pinterest boards!! With that door and those decks/porches its going to be stunning❤ So excited for you my sweet friend! TFS😊

The house looks so pretty and bigger somehow with the new paint color. Maybe check into a concrete stain for your sidewalks. Enjoy the journey of fixing up your home. I will keep you in my prayers to feel better.

I wonder ... What if you poured more concrete for a level entry way (whether you take out the step or not ) but do it allllll in the checker board pattern ? I know you've been thinking long and hard about what you want but for a cohesive look that might cost less I just had this idea . Love everything you've done and I was just thinking out loud definitely not criticizing ❣️🥰

Bless your heart ♥️. You are being a good friend… not criticizing. We have been exploring our options. We contacted a company to lay pavers in the diamond pattern over the entire area. It was extremely expensive. 🫣 The trex board deck is our most cost effective choice. We had considered covering the entire walkway with trex as well. This current concrete will not come clean. We are gonna try one more time to clean it … before throwing in the towel. Thank you so much for your ideas and for allowing me to share my ideas with you ❤️❤️
