Southern Pacific's Tennessee Pass in Colorado Part 3 September 1996

We start at Minturn, Colorado as the Eastbound OSNSF (Oakland, CA- Norfolk Southern at Kansas City) freight departs with Union Pacific SD40-2 leading three Southern Pacific SD45T-2. We then see a Westbound freight at Red Cliff that will be meeting the OANSF at Belden siding. Finally, we end with the OANSF entering the tunnel at the summit of Tennessee Pass.

Needless to say, Southern Pacific would face cannibalization by Union Pacific and EMD's reputation in the diesel locomotive industry would be overburdened by General Electric.
