Happy Thursday Mrs Lippy. Yep I make them the same way. Grandma showed me years ago. My doctor put me iron pills and my sweet Grandma said all I needed was her "fryed chicken". Lol Sister she knew if she told me what I was eating..... I would have never ate it. Lol but I loved them and Grandma always made me her special chicken when I got to see her. Good morning Ms Lippy. I had to go out this cold morning to take my granddaughter to daycare and needed eggs. So I went to Savealot and guess what jumped into my cart?! Yep, chicken livers for dinner today. I may have to save a little for my grandson, he learned to like them when we traveled to Georgia some years ago. This northern Granny had to teach a southerner how to eat real food 😂!. His parents don't cook such things like organ meats. Their loss. I love fried chicken livers but I am the only one in my house that does so I don’t get them very often. I don’t fry them myself cause they make such a mess popping but I love the trick you showed to keep them from popping. May have a try it again.
