There is always something I learn from you Ms Lippy! Freezing fresh lemon juice in ice cube trays...so simple and I never thought of it! I have frozen my homemade pesto that way in cubes and frozen lemon slices, but I'll be darn never thought about lemon juice. And I will agree with you I take pleasure in canning up some carrots. I swear they taste sweet when home canned. Yep ready for spring. Last week it was 20 below and even looking at seed catalogs couldn't warm me up. Thanks for the ride this morning!❤

Oh man that looks scrumptious Ms Lippy. I've got everything except pesto. Someone told me where to buy it without pine nuts but I think just running basil and olive oil together and using it would be good too.

Oh Ms Lippy those carrots are beautiful. Mine is growing but not ready for harvest yet. Wrote down the pasta recipe and will try it real soon. Yesterday I made the savory sweet potatoes again and my husband said they were definitely a “hit”. I planted radish , spinach , and lettuce in my little 36 pocket planter. Hope they all germinate. Oh no, too long comment again I'm sorry! You are such a talented cook Ms. Lippy! I'd rather had your supper (potato soup leftovers for me) but Super Bowl sales made chicken wings less painful so I tested the air fryer on my new-ish stove tonight for Hubby. Thankful for a good stove vent to suck up the smoke that barreled out, haha!!! (Next time, Hubby can grill them outside but it's only 25 degrees here right now.) Used Swamp Mix then after timing flips added Frank's w/butter. Hubby is in for a big treat tonight! I can't do heat so they are all for him. He won't eat any cooked veggies as a side (but did eat a good salad I meal-prepped in the fridge today) and didn't even want any naughty-ish air fried potato sides since I had the oven cranked. (Meat with a side of Meat and a garnish of Meat.) I *know* he's going to love your seasoning and say these are the best wings I've ever made. Best get more while they're reduced, not sports fans here but love those sales! (Wings are normally $4.99# here, ugh.) Your carrots were beautiful and undoubtedly sweet, glad you had plenty to can. I do mine in half-pints for just me but purchase the ones I can. Must try those Kurodas soon! Hubby will eat the heck out of a fresh, raw carrot so I try hard to grow them for him. Your meal reminds me to get out frozen shrimp scampi to improve freezer space! Thank you for sharing the tar tip, wish I could share it with my dad. 😞 I recall helping him scrub tar and bug-guts off his car after holidays with a special pad and his Turtle Wax Tar Cleaner. (It would be interesting to smell it again as a memory prompt.) So glad Spring is around the corner for you but here in the P.N., we're still in a drought (at least in E. Wa, not so sure about the "LEFT" coast. We are finally getting a tiny bit of cold and snow and I refuse to complain about it. The cold will hopefully 'unalive' some garden pests and maybe the snow will help some of my remaining roses survive the winter. I lost so many last year, it broke my heart. As soon as we get a break in the weather, Hubby and I will get that dormant spraying done. We are a good team...I measure and load the sprayer and he does the grubby work.

Thanks for the tip on the peppermint spray. A bunch of mint has decided to take over one of our raised beds this winter so we have plenty of it. It looks like y'all are very well prepared for this upcoming garden season.

My shed is a mess too. But the snow and very cold weather decided to hit more this month than earlier like normal. It'll be March and April before I get to straighten up my poor shed. Son moved south to Texas last fall and added a bunch to my shed. Its gonna take awhile to get it organized again. You are doing alot and it looks great!!❤

Thank you for another great video! I have a question. Do you not have issues with mice getting into your shed and biting holes into your bags of fertilizers. They made a mess in my garden shed. Does the peppermint water help to keep them out? How often do you have to spray the inside of your shed to keep the bugs out?

Do you keep a separate spray bottle for the water/peppermint oil? Would you be able to wash out and use something else in there? Finally, where is a good place to get real peppermint oil? Thanks for sharing. I want to try this to get rid of mud daubers in my well house.

Bless your heart your garden shed looks like mine only difference mine is a 10x10 I call it my hell hole, to short for shelves I use to do wicking tubs and have a bunch of that black tubing sock stuff 🙄 a lot of cut pvc and I need to get rid of that but what if someone might need it? All in the back I have cases of canning jars waiting to get used, then I have my chicken auto plucker, scaulding pot with my propane and against other wall I have all my gardening stuff/ fertilizers, no shelves mean it’s just all over floor I warned hubby that floor is weak and rotting, well his foot went thru in his defense he is a big man and has to bend over while I can walk around standing right up lol this shed is only time me being short is a good thing. I am supposed to get a new shed taller and better flooring and built better so not leaking. I will take the metal from mine and make an old dog kennel and cover roof and make a chicken tractor for meat chics or hope to anyway.

You been busy with the garden planing. I can't wait to see everything popping up.
