These girls have taken a lot of heat ever since the season started and I must say, I am so proud of them. Especially Gabby, she has really blossomed as captain. Her count selection is impeccable. It’s fun, energetic, and fresh. The girls behind her, follow her lead and execute beyond measure, every time. This remains my favorite dance line......period. I wish them continued success. They are doing an AMAZING job. I loved the piece with their mothers, it was beautiful. Thanks Marvin for this exceptional video.

The day one fans notice EVERYTHING about this current squad (critiques and compliments) while the new fans are fangirling. Gotta give it to her because deep down that pressure gotta get to you at first but on the flipside the hate might be the fuel that makes them stronger each week. I’m so proud of Gabby! The way y’all ripped this girl apart and the way certain dolls were treating her was so sad to see. But she smiled and pushed through. I love her lil swag and her count selection is very good (I just want her to throw the windmill count on a fast song lol). KAYLON is coming into that tail spot baby she had the boys going crazy on the side. Jada seems like she dances more wild than last year idk tho. Micah and Taneria seem to have relaxed a bit too because it seemed like they were actually trying to out dance Gabby the first couple appearances which wasn’t necessary. And that field show was amazing!! Maybe the best I’ve seen since 13.

I don't think Micah and Taneria were trying to out dance Gabby, they are just naturally strong dancers, heavy hitters. Whereas, Gabby has a bit more of a relaxed style. Micah and Taneria came in under Stamper who is a strong dancer as well, so they needed a little time to adjust and realize Gabby is not gonna come as strong(which is ok, im not trying to shade). If the girl's had been under Jordan they would continue to dance strong, as Jordan is a strong dancer too. Basically they've toned down to compliment their captain.

I’m loving Gabby! There’s an air of poised and perched, sitting pretty, untouchable Southern bougieness that’s been missing. A calmer version of the unbothered fire of the last two seasons. MVP for this field show goes to Kaylon!! The 50 Yard line is missing the "5" now because Kaylon murdered it with her dancing. I like to call Kaylon "Special K" because I need a daily dose of her slayage each day just the like the cereal..lol. Kaylon is understated, elegant, and very consistent/reliable since Freshman Year and she has this international appeal. I can see Kaylon dancing in Europe and Asia after college because she has that quiet but deadly international X Factor quality about her. If they decide to do a black James Bond movie version, Kaylon would be perfect as a young Bond Girl because her appeal crosses all racial/ethnic barriers

I am really glad that Kaylon is back for her 2nd rip. I missed her in the off-season but she is definitely doing an amazing job starting off her 2nd rip! Actually, my favorites are Kaylon and Jada. They are just a force to be reckoned with! Of course, I love them all (I am so happy that '16 dolls are still gracing us with their technique, poise and flawless dancing). I am also happy to see Camryn from Bring It make it to the Dolls (we knew she would) and Arielle starting their crab year. Finally over the initial shock of not seeing my favs from 15. All 8 of them are killing it this year. Jada, Taneria, and Micah being the front runners for me, personally. Gerald Ellington No. However I am the following: A. Someone who loves dance, B. Someone who thinks that collegiate squads should have a technical foundation (hence why I love the dolls) and C. Feels that no matter what, there will be people who think the Dolls suck because they can’t get past the alleged mess that went down and for me it is somewhat irritating. Furthermore, the Dolls’ look, strut (I prefer a strut over a hi-step) Jazz/burlesque style had always been UNMATCHED. I thought Jordan was great, but Gabby is showing WHY she is at the helm.
