The way the band marched out the 14 to 33 formation halftime score. Unbelievable! I would love to see them practice and prepare for that. Each member must have an IQ of 200 or something. Wow!

Man I was pulling for JSU this year. I really thought Jackson state was going to be a problem this year but they didn't just lose this weekend, they got embarrassed. Southern came to Jackson, MS and literally took it over the entire weekend. I guess SU had to get their revenge for last years L.

Did anybody see that the halftime score was displayed as if Southern was the home team ? Normally , the home team score is always second . I guess that was SUs way of saying that's their home field !

no. southern always spells out the score in the Home - Visitor format. JSU was losing at halftime.

I have no low standards. I have Breast Cancers patients in my family and give props where due. So forgive me for loving this field show for the tribute. I didn't see JSU do any. And this isn't the best field show that Southern has ever done. Every band has their ttranditions.... JSU the Tiger Run on, and Souther has several... the SU joined together, the band dancing in groups, the half time score, and the words or tribute to who every or what every may be going on...it is you opinion, but don't insult people for loving the half time show. Mahthias Fountain sorry this is so late but Tennessee State has been doing the HOPE word with the ribbon in the middle for years before this. The earliest I can find is 2012

@@raul.17T nah man.. they don't punish nobody for that. Mistakes happen. SU is probably the most understanding out of the bunch of schools out there. It's a lot of pressure, and it wasn't just me during that halftime or even that squad that messed up at the time. It's more of a self-learning process. Weird to explain until it happens to you. The embarrassment was enough, and I'm not ashamed to admit it was pretty hard for me. Cried my eyes out while blowing JSU out. The upperclassmen were there for me and honestly I think that was the turning point of my time as a crab. As I said, mistakes happen. Everyone makes one. While I did not return to SU to finish my schooling after that year due to family troubles, I definitely would have continued marching.
