This was one the more closely matched Zero Quarters....Boom seems have some trumpet power this year. Have to see halftime and the 5th quarter. Good quality sound from both, so far.

That camera angle didn’t do any favors for SU. Smh. It’s still F JState, however they banging in that corna mayne. Selection was better. Sound was crisp. SU sound muffled over there maybe due to angle, and at times sounds like they didn’t know they’re music. The tina turner for example. You can tell they just got this for this week but should’ve kept that in the bandroom. If JState plays it, they win that battle. Zero qtr to JState. I’ve never said that before.

Big facts!! Losing B and haymer was the worst thing to ever happen to the “S”. Respect to Taylor, but we can definitely see he was in a rush to fill the assistant director spots. In turn, he decided on Todd/Kenneth whose no where near ready for the big leagues, respectfully. There are plenty of og jukes out there who would’ve kept the tradition of being dominant going, but sadly Taylor focused on “hot” names. So in turn, you get weak rap arrangements (that’s not even identifiable), 0 funk (in which the juke is known for) & poor song selection/execution from the members. The band world is so egotistical nowadays that “fans” (who’ve never picked up and instrument in their life) think calling out anything less then perfection (which Doc/the legends instilled) is “hate”. So in turn, we’ll continue to get mid performances.
