I love bands personally they all unique in they own way. Now both bands have power. However before the game I did have SU winning the battle. But I'm fair man. This was a very dry battle. I give Southern the slight W. Jsu sound too good to be playing those old mediocre songs. If you're gonna pull something out from the past, at least make sure they're hard hitters. All in all, Both bands seemed a bit off. JSU seemed bored like they was just ready to be over with the battle. and a few of Southern's songs seemed like everyone didn't know it. And i caught that when i think it was the btones came in early on, i think it was the 3rd song. Deduction!! lol.. Anywho. . Maybe it's because they placed this battle so early in the season, but i honestly expected more energy and intensity from this battle. I'll have to catch the 5th and see if anything changes.

So, what i based the battle off of was song selection and energy. As i said. this was a pretty lack luster, and the energy was very mid throughout the whole battle but Southern's energy was slightly higher. Both bands song selections was also mid but Southern's was slightly better, hence, why i gave Southern the slight W. Song Selection Matters
