I will never understand why SWAC bands think that every arrangement should be played as loud as possible. I would love to hear more than just the brass, I’m sure I saw woodwind instruments 🤔

BGMM all the way... SU screaming the whole time and you hardly can understand; the Dolls were distracting; or were they distracted because something was off i'm sorry... BGMM plays by their own rules yes; and will continue it what keeps them on top!!! Bandhead!!

I can never understand what Southern be playing they play sooo loud and the Dolls doesn't move with the same energy as what the band plays for me. The Dolls looked out of sync and some looked lost to me. Too much dancing with their arms and hands what about the other body parts (Stiffness) as loud as Southern plays it would seem that the Dolls would dance with their entire body movement. That's why I can't get into the Dolls they dance soo stiff to me.

Just my opinion but I actually love SU dolls, extremely elegant and sexy and they dance with class and respect for their craft. I respect the fact that they actually dance and Not always shaking their butts!

I been listening to Southern for a while. It the same old same old. All the SWAC school are scared to step out of the box. As the for been known on National level please we won't even go their. Apparently you haven't been keeping up.. Like the old saying "Quality over quantity" any day.. Also we not going even talk about the former Southern University Band Director sentenced to Federal Prison on Embezzlement Charge. @@juke0327 You obviously don't know the history of battle of the bands. Originally, during the early beginnings of the swing era, they were always judged where a winner was announced. It was serious business because no one wanted to lose. It has changed over time because no one wanted the risk of losing; which is likely why A&T has more judged wins than anyone that performed in Houston.

I mean if you can’t hear every section of the band what else are we suppose to call it? I’m a BGMM FAN TO THE DEATH OF ME and I will say that Southern had their best sound in my opinion from 2006-2013, other than that they lost the harmony in music. In actuality Southern is threatened by BGMM anyway. A&T has never mentioned SOUTHERN in no fashion from my understanding……….but yet The Human Jukebox decides to comment on one of A&T videos? Southern Jealous and trying to steal ideas. I said what I said. Stand with it.
