I live in Calgary AB (Canada) and I live on the parade route downtown where once a year there is a very very big parade with many marching bands. That one day a year I wake up so happy and leap out of bed to run to my balcony where I happy cry several times when a really good band marches by.

There's this marching band I always wanted to join in highschool when I was in Texas as a youngster in elementary school. The name of the band was called the Allen Eagle Escadrille and they contained over 740 students in the band. I also wanted to join the SU marching band when I hit college but I want to pursue my future career in culinary arts which I will be going to Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in San Antonio Texas. (Currently a Junior in high school) You can only do so much when you grow up😔 being a military child is hard for me. I lost a good friend when I was younger. Never got to talk to him after I moved. A year after I left, he passed away drowning and didn't hear about this until 4 years after that. I still live with that memory and will never forget it. What inspires me to do better, is music especially when they are played by a marching band. I don't know why but there is something about it that makes it sound better than the song made by the artist and it has a better style by a band playing it. I just wish I could do marching band and go to the culinary school i want to go to at the same time. But, you can only do so much😔...
