I'm not sure if there's different regional whoopie pies but being from Maine, our whoopie pies look a lot different. Ours are made with two fluffy pieces of chocolate cake, they're almost as round as a softball. 'Round these parts, we'd call what you have an "oatmeal cream pie". Yessah.

A thing we do back home... put salt on your Granny Smith Apple. It changes the taste and makes it so much more delicious.

I don’t like Granny Smith either. I prefer either pink lady apples or regular “delicious” red. The only other ones I don’t mind are the yellow “golden delicious” ones with the little freckles on them.

My mom grew up in the mountains of TN. There were mountain lions and goats. They had lots of land grew their own produce, had chickens and all kinds of birds and animals. She witnessed her great grandmother swinging a chicken by the head to break It's neck and watched her chop that head off! I can only imagine growing up in an environment like that. Wow...you're the real MVP. The fact you have all that you have going on in life, and you still find time to make such a quality video, speaks volumes on how much you care for your subs. Really sorry to hear about your dad but I'm glad he's home and on his road to recovery. Actually, your situation is pretty relatable to my own. I'm 27. My grandfather (mom's dad) had covid about a month ago as well as a double ammonia. 88 years old. O2 levels depleted as low as the 60's, maybe 70's, I forgot. But we're all so swamped with work and taking care of him. He now has a hospital bed in the house. Crazy how much covid aged him. Prior to covid he was 88 with the mind and body of a 60 year old. Now covid aged him about 30 years. Anyways, great video, great sounds. Much love.

Next time you make cinnamon sugar tortilla chips try them with fruit salsa! You can put whatever fruit you like in it and it is so good with the chips!

When I lived in Alabama there was a crab apple tree in the neighborhood. And we used to play under the tree and eat the apples we could reach. I would’ve loved a variety like y’all had though 😅 I used to live in NC and I miss the markets 😭 here in Ohio where I love now there’s an Amish market and it’s AMAZING! I wish I could let you taste the doughnuts they make. You could really turn that empire apple into a skull. It’s shaped perfectly for it!

If you fry the flour tortillas and then sprinkle the cinnamon sugar right out of the oil it turns out much better, drizzle some honey on top and you’re good.
