My dad used to work at my town’s public library when I was a young girl, and he would let me come with him to spend several hours walking among the books while he worked. We would eat dinner together in the little cozy break room. Some of my fondest memories with him!! Thank you for sparking those memories, I have to reminisce with him later!

This is, by far, my favorite video you've ever done! I hope one day you go back to the library basement for another walkthrough and tour it just like you did in this video. The tapping, the soft speaking, the tracing on the laminate, touching the tags. It's perfection

I absolutely love the idea of your library doing this. Not only does it keep people's interest by putting in new books they can be interested after so long, but I know lots of people in my city would love to buy the books for only a dollar. I wish all libraries did this

Gorgeous video. All those great books, only a dollar each - I want them all! If I ever found such a bargain basement I’ll need a bigger house. Scotland is a magical country, best to come in the Summer. The Edinburgh festival is on for all of August and is the largest arts festival in the world. The Western isles shouldn’t be missed. History, castles, rain, midges, distilleries, haggis, heather, mountains, deer, highland games, pipe bands, kilts, tartan, more castles, more rain and more midges - you’ll love it!

I love your library videos. The crinkly sounds of books are wonderful. I still use all your library videos as standbys for ultimate relaxation. You always treat the books gently and with slow hand gestures. Thanks, as always!!

im not sure if you've done this before but id love a library book/ book store organization video !! even if its not at a real library or book store, organizing books by alphabetical, the library number or even size would be so satisfying!! especially with the crinkles ! i used to TA for the librarian in college and reshelving books and looking for all the numbers was so fun, like a scavenger hunt !!

You’ll love Scotland! I moved there this August to get my master’s degree. It’s pretty cold and gray in the fall and winter but it’s so lovely in the summer. My tip is to not plan too much and allow yourself time to take detours and explore the small towns! My favorite small town is Birnam & Dunkeld (two towns but very small and right next to each other so it feels like one town).

Hello from Scotland! I hope your trip here isn't delayed too much by current circumstances. Your library role plays are one of my favourite "go to" video's. The crinkle of old library books takes me back to childhood when I first experienced ASMR (before I knew what it was). There are so many castle's here to see, as you will probably already know. There's Stirling Castle and Edinburgh Castle (if you are in Edinburgh I would also recommend a visit to the haunted "Mary King's Close" which is a preserved underground 17th century street). Dunrobin Castle in the Highlands looks straight out of a fairytale and Kelburn Castle near Largs is a quirky one with beautiful surroundings. There are honestly so many to choose from I'm struggling to pick them out myself. I'm sure if and when you get to visit you will not be short on beautiful places to see. I would also recommend a good waterproof. Regardless of the month, it will probably rain at some point...

When you're going to Scotland and if your kids love Harry Potter you should definitely consider doing the traintrip over Glennfinnan viaduct. I don't think you can get there by car but it's also nice to not have to drive every day.

Drive to Fort William and get the train day trip from there to Mallaig. It’ll take you over the viaduct and give you some time in Mallaig for a lunch before the steam train takes you back down to Fort William. 😊

Some things about Scotland: be prepared for crazy drivers!!! As an American from a small town, I was stunned by how quickly everyone drove over there. Also, the roads tend to be very very narrow when you’re in town. Plan to rent a small car for sure!! One more thing: be prepared to see some of the most beautiful landscapes you’ve ever seen. It’s truly breathtaking over there. Enjoy!! :)
