Gosh, I'm always so blown away at just how genuine and kind you come through in your videos. I feel like you let your followers get to know the real you, I never feel like you are putting on a show for the camera. Such a beautiful soul, your positivity is infectious!

I just thought of a good idea to pack necklaces inexpensively. I just laid them out on small towels and rolled the towels. They fit nicely in boxes. It worked very well for me.

I may start going to Goodwill now, thanks to you! You’ve got some great finds! Your soft spoken Goodwill show & tell videos are my favorites. Whispering triggers me, but not in an ASMR way. More of an anxious/angry way. But soft spoken is always perfect for me. Thank you so much for providing both. I know a lot of times, whispering is ideal for people. But for me, soft spoken is all I can handle.

I have been following you since the very beginning and your videos just get better and better! You have always been a rare gem but lately you have proven that everything you post is truly worthwhile and so soothing for an insomniac like myself. I echo the sentiments of others that I'm sorry to see that all is not 100% to plan for you as of late, but please know that the comfort you bring to people like me is immeasurable. Thank you for being you!

Thank you Emily!! Life often takes unexpected turns, but the end result sometimes can be way better than what we had planned to start with. I'm happy and at peace with my life, my boys are happy, and it's all good! :)

I love ur videos! Because of watching ur videos I have looked more to becoming feminine again, & trying to positive, working out (cuz u also say u work out during lunch and so I tell myself "see she finds ways to keep herself n shape!) I constantly tell my husband I wanna b girly again like I was! I'm a nurse soooooo doing my make up for a 12hr shift and having time to do it (on top of everyday things AND trying to work out) it's impossible on days I work but just FYI ur an inspiration to me on many levels! Thank u!

I dont know if you will see this Mary but I really must say that i love your channel, your characters are great, in particular I find your jewellery show and tells so relaxing. Please would you consider making more of these? Even though you have made a number of videos of this nature you have such a wealth of jewellery that there may be pieces that haven' t been included in other videos. Thankyou xxx

I am loving your videos old and new I've been jumping around the time line a bit I think. I thought you would find this cool the necklace you show in the 6th minute looks to me like it was intended to be a jeans chain. I had them in the 90's you hang it between 2 belt loops on the side of your jeans to bling it up. just thought I would mention it as in another video you mentioned you had 20 pairs of jeans :).

You know you have a lot of jewelry when you refer to it "by the pound" :) What impresses me most is that so many of the pieces are thrift finds! I cannot look at a jewelry display anywhere that I don"t think "hmmm... now what would Mary think of this piece?" What I would give to go thrift jewelry shopping with you - such fun it would be!

Hi there! I am a new ASMR Artist, and I have been watching your videos for a while. I was wondering if you could give me some tips on camera setup and sound. What do you use to aim your camera at your hands without holding it?? Do you use a camera or your phone?? I'm still learning the ropes. :-)
@SouthernASMRSounds8 жыл бұрын
Hi Shark! I started out with just my cell phone camera. The hardest part with that was figuring out how to position the camera to film stuff so I didn't have to hold the camera. I'd often set it up on a stack of books and use tape to hold it in place. It was a tricky process to say the least! Then I found a cell phone tripod on ebay (I think it was about $7), and that helped A LOT. Then after a month or two (after I was sure I wanted to keep making videos), I bought a Yeti Blue microphone (has a USB port so it hooks right into your laptop or desktop computer), and a Logitech webcam (you can see the exact one I purchased here: www.amazon.com/Logitech-Webcam-Widescreen-Calling-Recording/dp/B006JH8T3S/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1467124479&sr=1-1&keywords=logitech+webcam). Installing the Logitech software on my laptop was a bit tricky, but after I got it all figured out, I started using the Yeti Blue microphone and the Logitech camera to make all of my videos (except my vlogs - which I still do with my cell phone). I've been very happy with them!! One day I hope to upgrade to a binaural microphone, but it's still out of my price range. (They're around $500.) I hope this helps! Please feel free to send me a private message if you'd like to talk further. ;)
