The clarity of water in winter is amazing. It is absolutely the best time to scavenge around the river edges and the Chesapeake shoreline. Too murky any other time of year. If you can stand the cold, there's treasure around the old steamboat wharves and the cannery's we had in abundance.

Hope this information helps you. Thanks for the videos. Brass is making a comeback, if the genie lamp is salvageable. Thanks for cleaning up the water ways and land. Some marbles are made in Germany and sought after by collectors.

At the time the bottle was made, Seguin was a rural area outside of San Antonio. Hard to imagine how it got to AL. The "guin" is pronounced as if the "ui" is a long "e." However as expected, older Texans give that "guin" a dragged out Southern two syllable sound, so it's "ge-en."
