Here In Italy people used to keep their bottles instead of throwing them in the dump or in rivers, so there are not many old ones to be found. RIP John, my thoughts are with his family and friends.

Buried my (brother) in law a month ago from covid (61) my daughters father in law is n the hospital just put him on a ventilator, my daughter had it her hubby 4 day stint in hospital is now recovering, I went to the emergency with it, taken 2 weeks to start feeling better. I found a damaged but whole Hostetters in May '19. A small hole & cracks on a slick side.BM is 60 I.G.Co.L Illinois Glass? It has some pearlescent sick and a frag of lead seal . It was an 1880s-94 trash field, somewhat uncovered for a City project. One from ten years ago had lip issues. Hostetters seemed popular out here, but also all over the West. My first Hutch 8 May 2009 Waialua Soda Works 4pc mold, near gem with stopper. Found with small handclaw in grove just in mouth of Kaiaka Bay. Up to 18 Hutchs, last one a duplicate, except amethyst with a slight lip crack, right here near my home. Found a slick 1880s-90s Budweiser the other day, a leveright from the '80s diggers. Amber slick. BM "A.B.G.M. Co." 1 band cork lip.

I try not to shift the focus on to value alone. Of course the bottles have value but I want people to enjoy the history and story more than the value.
