That last bottle that was found sounds pretty interesting. I learn something new today as it being the first drug store to sell Coke Cola. Hope you’ll share any info on it. My heart skipped a beat when you pulled out that jug. That was so cool! I like jugs n to see that one had been stamped was even better. Braden, have a question. Had to dig a trench on my yard yesterday as pipe burst n had to be replaced. The guys found a soda bottle about 2ft. down. It says NEHI Beverage 9 fluid ounces on the bottom says Design Pat D March 3 25 also Columbus Ga. would that date be 1925? It’s a clear thick bottle. I do remember NEHI . Rather it’s worth Diddly squat it still means something to me. I was so excited my first bottle. Great video today. Love when you find cool bottles. ♥️♥️♥️😊👍👍👍🌟

I still have a keasbey & mattison blue bottle I found in the original city dump (closed in early 60's)St.Helens Or. in the mid 90's.. sadly, soon after they hauled in clay overburden from a nearby rock pit, and built houses on it. I die inside every time I watch a bottle video. At least I got a few bottles 💧

There is nothing like pulling out an advertised jug. It's a rare occurrence for sure. I have found maybe seven or eight in 40 years of digging so I know how rare they are to find. I have a feeling that Augsburger is a rare post 1906, Pat druggist bottle. I bet there are very few out there. Helps that is has a direct connection to Coca-Cola!

The Fly Dope jar you found without a lid...they wouldn't have kept the lid as the liquid and jar was meant to screw onto a metal atomizer with pump action and it was used to spray bugs inside. It was toxic.

Nothing like trying to figure out what something looks like when it's covered in mud. How hard would it be to have a bucket of water right there to rinse them off try to just rubbing them with money gloves the way you are cuz that doesn't do a thing but move the mud around
@adventurearchaeology4 ай бұрын
That wasn’t just mud but a rust build up. Shockingly the best way I’ve found to remove the staining on a stenciled jug is steel wool!
