On the carbide lamp; the carbide went in the bottom tank, the water in the top, the lever on the top regulated how fast the water dripped down on the carbide and how big the flame would be. As a kid I did a lot of caving in the 50s with a carbide lamp and still have the same lamp in my shop.

I have you beat on the white legs bro! Need sunglasses if I wear shorts!😎😂 Also I have a huge stash of pieces of glass of all colors! If it stands out I pick it up! One day I'm gonna do something with all the broken glass and China and pottery. I especially love finding uranium glass! I really enjoy all your videos! Thanks! 😎

It's pretty wild that you find so many pocket watches in one stretch of creek. 🤔 very unusual. I bet there has to be a logical reason for that but I would love to know why...🤔👍😎

Nice video, on a carbide light, water goes in the top tank and the carbide in the bottom. Water drips down to produce acetylene gas. Used them a lot in my caving days. Common names were Justrite, Premier and Guy’s dropper. Occasionally you see a butterfly brand which is a foreign copy of an American brand but I don’t remember which one.

I like how the Apex is so clear especially with the high tone and it is really good at finding tiny objects I use my Apex all the time 😊 I really like my ATPro and Max but since I picked up the APEX i haven’t used them much but they are my go to. Nice little head lamp and buckle. Remember every adventure is different even if you have been to the same place before you never know what you might find or what might find you like little creepy crawling water spiders or baby worms 😂💪keep up the good work.
