For great milk gravy ALWAYS brown your flour to a nutty color ( nolonger light brown). Chop up into tiny pieces a few sausage links or patties in the gravy to give it a sausage taste. Cousin Brooke looks delicious, but the gravy needs to be toasty/ nut. We love the casserole with gravy and sausage 😋.

We have 4 main gravies here. Plain basic white gravy. Like you see here. Sausage gravy made with sausage and sausage grease. Bacon gravy made with bacon grease. Cornmeal gravy made with cornmeal and oil. All taste different and delicious. It’s like comparing an apple pie to a strawberry pie. Kinda the same, but completely different.

Here is another quick breakfast recipe. Cinnamon Roll Bake 2 cans of cinnamon rolls 10 eggs scrambled 1 baking dish sprayed with cooking spray cut up cinnamon rolls, pour uncooked eggs on top, cook at roll temp usually takes a few extra minutes, top with icing.

If you boil potatoes without peel, for mashed potatoes, that potatoe water is excellent for White gravy. Same with water you cooked veggies in. Gives it a bit of umami😊
