Next summer plant yourself some pumpkin seeds above your retaining wall and you can have tons of pumpkins for the price of some seeds. I use bubble wrap in my extra large planters to cut down on the soil needed as well as it makes them lighter. I sold my 1940 bungalow last fall and my parents and I stripped out the 1970’s restored hard wood floors , remodeled the kitchen and put in central heat and air. It sold so fast! Now I’m renovating a 2500 sq ft ranch on a triple lot. Thanks for all the inspiration.

I actually repainted, installed flooring and refinished all the cabinets in our 1960 rancher which belonged to my husbands parents. I'm far from finished but it looks quite different than it did 3 years ago. What type of wood did you use for your window boxes? Thanks

No, no, no! Don’t use plastics that will leach toxins right into your soil! Those flowers are far too pretty to lose them to toxins! And especially don’t do this if you are planting anything edible! This is such a fabulous house!❤️
