"Protecting and Cultivating Your Marriage" Kind Sir...that is a great Title. For "Marriage": is the ONLY "Institute" that God ever Created. For... All other institutes are man-made. Thus marriage; WAS Created by God. NOT by man and even governments! Yet governments have taken over what God Created. (Incidentally: Jesus IS the only True God Almighty there will lever be! Thus I will use His name below!) So Jesus said in...Genesis 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. (notice: He did not say wives; nor did he say boyfriends!) And... Genesis 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. Thus "WORLD": that is Marriage! And any other way; it's NOT Marriage. Regardless of what any one says. And may Jesus have mercy on ANY one; that changes what HE Created and Commanded together 6,000 yrs ago! Praise His Holy Name. Lastly: When that Marriage between 2 Born Again's (one male and one female); worshipd Jesus and NOT a BOOK; that is "Protecting and Cultivating your Marriages"! And there is NO other way. Believe it or not! End of Story and I rest me case... ...In any case kind Sir, Please Pray OFTEN and Praise Jesus OFTEN; for He is the ONLY true "God Almighty"; there will ever have been. And may Jesus bless you and yours always. AMEN!

I think the part about "firing a pastor" is just very wrong. You can leave a pastor, but cannot fire him. Church is not a business to hire managers or CEOs. Second. From my personal experience in most cases, pastors should work and provide for their families otherwise they will be constantly dependent on what their congregation feels/thinks about them. When you depend financially on what congregation thinks about you, you will 100% either put feelings of the people before God's will and not preach everything you see in the Bible or will lose your income due to being straightforward/honest with people and that will bring a lot of turbulence/stress in our life. Work and preach without any worry you will be under a bush for honestly preaching what you see in the Bible that may go against some people's beliefs in that congregation. Work and be free.
