Heath I finally have a day of and I ask myself what would heath do tomorrow if he was going fishing. I have everything but deep drop. This happens allot. I always end up trolling. My plan is troll afternoon tuna 120-250. Sabiki bait in Dania balls. Then hit the wreks. Slow pitch. Kite early morning. Confused. Thoughts

I'd either troll or kite fish in the morning... Skip the live bait... Go out to 150-200 and SPJ the rest of the day 😁

This was very helpful but also discouraging when I got to the part about peanut dolphin in august when I plann to go to key largo for dolphin fishing on my own for a change. Anything else good in august ?

August is tough... Id stick to the reef for yellowtail and muttons snapper. You can also planer troll in about 175 for big kingfish

Heath, how can I keep from the Spanish sardines from breaking off as they are thawing? I have bought the same brand you showed on this video and I can’t get them to stay on the hook because they break off.

You don't want to thaw them too much, that's when they get mushy. Try to keep them iced down.

My favorite lures for mahi are called Boone Turbo Hammers. Here's a link to them: Boone Turbo Hammer (blue/silver) amzn.to/3pCq6za The Shimano FX 2500 is too small for trolling, and honestly a little small (unless you're really into sporty fishing) for sight fishing them.
