Its despicable the way the truck stops are getting, drivers tolazy to walk to a trash can put out for their convenience, and still cant show curtesy to take their trash to the proper cans provided for them..makes me real sad that it has gotten this bad since I quit driving in '95

Funny story, I was loading flat steel that needed tarped. I pull under the tarp shed and they have fans that are supposed to keep the drivers cool, well when it starts to down pour the fans blow the water all over you and no one could figure out where the plugs were to unplug them.

drivers, if you have extra loads that you can't get rid of? call around for donations or just find people that need it.. don't throw that away on the ground.. We use to get on the radio and aske other drivers if they want it .. i walked away with 2 pallets of different sizes of olive oil. company told me to keep it.. so i did. found a restaurant that wanted them, 5.oo a bottle for the large ones and 2.50 for the small ones.. Made good money that day..

You need to get you some Frogg Toggs. They will keep you dry. Wear them when riding my motorcycle in down pours and stay dry.

Robert, the secret to staying dry is motorcycling over pants. Typically made of courdra and totally waterproof. I don’t know how often you would need them,and they can be bulky. For space savings, think frog togs. I’ve ridden many miles in the rain, totally dry.

Robert, I concur with this motorcyclist. I ridden in all weather for 45 years now. My rain gear keeps me completely dry. Frog Togs are very lightweight and you can pick up a set for a great price at Cycle Gear stores or online.

When you have loaded any of those new class 8 tractors, have you had them automatically applying their own brakes when you are getting close to the front step? My neighbor hauls a lot of them for used dealers, and he said KW s do it all the time. They told him it was the collision avoidance system, So he just shuts the truck off and gets them to push them on when he gets them aired up. Glad to see you folks are at least getting by. Try to get home for Christmas.

I picked up at that place before, thankfully, no line when I was there. I went to the address they gave me and it turned out to be stop 3. They went ahead and loaded me, it was kind of weird though, they put a stack at the ass end of the trailer, then sent me to the building down the street where they loaded some more on, and then sent to the first stop around the corner. I wish they would have just made me go to the first stop and start there; l believe it would have been less finagling around with the straps at each location, and it would have loaded better. But thankfully it road well.
