Lovely video. Very impressive layout. I recall visiting Southport in the 70s and walking around a railway village like this. I think it was called Merrivale or something like that? This one looks a lot bigger than the one I remember. If I can remember it correctly, that one had the trains running through tunnels under the footpaths you walked along.

I dont think I saw any UK engines on the track so why would I bother to visit at all????

Visiting is entirely up to the individual, we visited as we were in the gardens alongside for a summers day out whilst the kids were on the slot machines it’s time for dad to cissapear and do his thing 😉and for an easy hour it passed the time away wandering through the gardens and having a chat with the owner about how they’d wired up the control and signalling, albeit very basic. It’s still an impressive bit of work 👍
