Caring for the poor and marginalized isnt a liberal agenda. It's a Biblical teaching.

Dr Carmen Joy Imes recently wrote an amazing book called "Being God's Image". It's a fantastic book on this subject.

KB your explanation on God‘s image was amazing. I‘ll keep coming back to this a lot to remind myself of who God is and who we are as a image bearer🙏🏽

Another great episode, fellas. 🫡 The segment about loving our neighbor makes me think of a scenario I could face as someone in the process of becoming a licensed professional counselor. I’ve wondered about whether believers in this field should provide counseling to LGBTQ folks in a secular setting and what that might look like. There are aspects of counseling that I think a believer could freely provide for this population, but then it seems inevitable that a believing clinician would run into conflicts of conscience at some point. So it makes me wonder whether they should put themselves and those clients in that position to begin with.
