Thank you so much for this 🙌🏻 Was wondering if you guys would speak on this or not. Love that you guys talk about the importance of character and integrity. The biggest thing I hear from my Christian friends is that the character and integrity doesn't matter anymore, and it's all about the policies and values... But like you pointed out too, if you can't trust their character and integrity, you can't trust things they claim to represent will actually be upheld 😆 I like to reference Luke 6:45 when discussing character and what scripture says on the importance of it.

Hey... this EPISODE RIGHT HERE! #BOOM! I have been saying these things for 2 DECADES! Thank you for reading them... expounding on them... disecting them! Truly, you have been a blessing to me! l I have been doing radio for 15 years, Pastors Creflo Dollar (World Changers International Church), and Pastor Fred Price Jr. ( Crenshaw Christian Center) have each cone on with us three times, discussing these matters!! I say that to say that there are few who'd be honest enough to stand for the Uriahs of this day, not just the babies! Many people have counted these issues and pastors as irrelevant. BUT! Not until we see the malpractice in bad prenatal care for African American women, mass incarcerations, police brutality, and human trafficking the same as "The shedding of innocent blood," it will be very hard to stand!
@Will-sv2hl2 ай бұрын
trump helped free a lot of people from prison and also had a better border situation which limits human trafficking over the border 🤷♂
@dcfal8172 ай бұрын
Creflo and Fred Price are not reputable pastors. They are both individuals who have represented the word of faith movement and not solid theology. I’d cut creflo some slack because he changed his teachings. However the argument I’ve heard is that if he’s truly repented he should step down from being a pastor

Politics is a civil politics that isn’t just religious but national.i think we have to get over our emotional biased to political candidates and look for the best candidate that suits Christian ethics Most politicians are secular deist and not religious in terms of Christian. It’s not politically set up fully to benefit religious people but rather secular. Most of these guys are affiliated with free masonry rather it’s republicans or democrats In a general sense, do your civil diligence to vote and get involved but ultimately put your trust and faith in Jesus

Both parties profess Christianity, Trump and Vance have and so have Kamala and walz. I don’t trust any of it but I vote based on policy, morals and history of body of work. Both candidates have been in some type of a presidential role already and one has a much better track record than the other. Both lie and have unfavorable personalities but one side has a clear advantage in overall productivity. Trump gets the nod in my opinion

Super disappointed in this commentary. The opening straw man argument was extremely uncharitable. Just because you support a candidate or a party doesn't mean you're looking to that person for eternal salvation. Our doctors, mayors, pastors, etc can't save us, but it's really important to pick good doctors, government officials, and churches. Better to go to a sound church that has flaws than to stay home because the church isn't perfect. A truly neutral strategy would've been to layout the policies of each platform, pointing out the strengths and weaknesses of both sides instead of accusing people of only regurgitating what they've heard. This whole conversation sounded like a regurgitation that we've been hearing ALL YEAR. At the end of the day, this conversation didn't provide the answer of "How Christians Should Vote". It heavily shamed those who are concerned about voting one way or the other. However, I do think some good points were made as far as not perpetuating lies, conspiracy theories, etc, being willing to do research independent of what we're hearing in mainstream media, and the fact that Christians should be politically engaged. But while you stated that Christians should engage politically, the rhetoric seemed to imply otherwise. Allen Parr's commentary was much more clear and balanced. One of these candidates is going to win, so like them or not, we should all be concerned about who we elect into office while we continue to use our religious freedoms to share the Gospel. You don't have to sacrifice one for the other, at least not at this point in history.
@dcfal8172 ай бұрын
Great commentary sis I think a lot of the neutrality comes from the desire to engage in politics without their burden of casting vote and checking in with their local representatives

No. 4, No. 4, No. 4, No. 4 Endeavor to verify information before accepting it as true or repeating it to others. So many times, I've commented on "Christian" content creator's videos about straight up lying with the information they have shared. And even when other viewers address it, they just act like they did nothing wrong. If viewers would verify creator's content, they would be able to better discern who is a follower of Christ and who is not.

Hmm they both lie especially her, but certainly both do. So the lying has to be more dissected, also competence to do the job.
@danielcrawford12942 ай бұрын
I liked this and agree with a lot but do think it’s overly focused on character vs policy. If we aren’t citizens of earth, and our citizenship is in heaven, why would we care about a Christian representation in America…let’s be honest neither candidate are believers. And we haven’t had a true believer since maybe Carter. We aren’t a Christian nation. One candidate is outwardly abrasive and the other is condescending and abuses her staff, is one worse than the other? I would argue to look at policy before the character traits. Like one party will likely save thousands of unborn babies and also push back on the gender ideology movement which the Bible definitely refutes. To me one sides policies are evil and then I am told the other sides candidate is evil. Even if he is evil, what has more of an effect? Policy or person

It’s comical you named dropped Cornell west as a reputable candidate for this current upcoming election. The president of the US has to care about policies that benefit a nation not a tribe or culture I’ve listened to West interviews and his position to the be a candidate are quite mundane. Surface level pro black politics does not suffice for the U.S government
@jwynns2 ай бұрын
@@dcfal817 I vote on policy not personality. West has the best platform for all people. And if you read it, the best policy platform of all the candidates running. Although I will admit, he does not have the best political instincts. The theme of my question was to get the hosts Christian informed opinion on all parties and candidates outside the Dem and GOP. Those two parties are corrupt IMHO and have the political system locked up.
