Riding on my 3rd 737 MAX 8 aircraft with Southwest Airlines from Lihue (LIH) on the island of Kauai to Honolulu (HNL) on the island of Oahu. Part of my 2024 Hawaii trip. Got to experience a full power takeoff from Lihue Airport which has short runways each measuring 6,500 feet. Even flights over the Pacific Ocean to the West Coast takeoff from here fully loaded. This day also happened to be World Pilots Day.
