Southwest Airlines - Full Flight POV: Minneapolis, MN (MSP) to Phoenix, AZ (PHX)

-Minneapolis, Minnesota to Phoenix, Arizona
Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport
-MSP to PHX. MSP-PHX.
*MSP is a major national hub for Delta Airlines (formerly for Northwest Airlines) & KLM (Royal Dutch Airlines)
-Boeing 737-700/-800/MAX aircraft.
-Fun solo day round trip. Left home in the East Valley AZ in the morning to Chicago Midway for a brief layover and connecting flight to main destination: the Twin Cities area (Minneapolis and St. Paul), for a bit longer while/short stay. For a specific reason and specific place. Back home in AZ that evening into night! For my return home trip, simply a single leg/direct/non-stop flight.
-Daytime, morning to afternoon to late evening/sunset.
-Inside the gate, taxi to runway, Takeoff (climb & ascent to cruising altitude), flight attendant announcements after surpassing 10,000 feet.
-Snack and drink service, Landing (descent & final approach), touchdown on runway, flight attendant "welcome" announcements, taxi to the gate, parking. Departure and arrival!
-Awesome views [behind the wing, window seat] of: Mall of America, Northern Iowa to the southwest/left side, Lake Pepin, MSP airport runways and terminals overview, downtown St. Paul, Maple Grove and Golden Valley, Downtown Minneapolis, Sioux Falls (Eastern South Dakota), Missouri River, Omaha & Lincoln far to south/left side & Platte River (Nebraska), Western Kansas, over Colorado Springs & Rocky Mountains plus Denver far to north (Colorado), by the Four Corners, Gallup (Northwest New Mexico), Interstate 40 (Route 66), Petrified Forest National Park/Painted Desert plus Winslow & Meteor Crater far to west and over Show Low/Tonto National Forest (Eastern Arizona), Roosevelt Lake & Saguaro Lake, Apache Junction, Mesa/Scottsdale/Tempe, 202 loop freeway & 101 loop freeway, Salt River, Papago Park and Camelback Mountain.
-Stepping outside, riding the Metro light rail blue line south, for my first ever visit to the infamous "Mall of America" shopping and entertainment center/complex in Bloomington. A theme park inside too (comic book superheroes, M&M's candy, LEGO, etc.).
I had the opportunity and took it to spend some time there. The specific place I mentioned before, my reason for coming. Beautiful!

Avoiding the city, no reason to go there. One of the tragic settings for the summer of 2020 riots and far left politics in general.
-This was my long time return to the MSP airport/area, after at least 20 years!! Not since 1999 and 2001!!
My dad, older brother and I visited my dad's side of family in Lafayette, Indiana on a few occasions. Back then, living in SoCal, our routine was to fly Northwest Airlines, from Ontario (ONT) to Minneapolis (MSP), with a layover and then connecting flight down to Indianapolis (IND). Returning home the exact opposite route.
For our Christmas 2003/New Years 2004 trip, we flew United Airlines, from Los Angeles (LAX) to Chicago O'Hare (ORD) to Indy. Returning home: Northwest Airlines again, from Indy to Detroit (DTW) to LAX. Which was the last time we flew NWA, of course.

Sears Tower Skydeck/observation deck, 'Family Matters' sitcom, TheWheatisHeat96 (Steve in Palos Hills), milk & cheese & dairy, "Rust Belt" USA, factories, Dakotas, 'That 70's Show' sitcom & 'That 90's Show' sitcom, Canada to the north, Lake Superior, 'Jingle All the Way' (Christmas comedy movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger & Sinbad. 1996), 'Fargo', 'Little Big League', 'The Mighty Ducks', 'Purple Rain'.
-Summer season, day before September 11th, early Fall, getaway, fun times, memories, tourism, tourist attractions, history, Traveling America. Spirit of Route 66. Midwest storm season, Monsoon season, heat, humidity, windy, breeze, no rain this time, no snow, cloudy, sunny, turbulence. Desert valley, mountains, Midwest, flyover country, farmland, small towns, cities, bridges, farms, central plains, fields, crop circles, cows, pigs, flat or hilly land and scenery, heartland rock, country music, Farm Aid. John Mellencamp (John Cougar).
