Today is January 6th, 2021. I remember watching this video 9 years ago and came back to watch this again to take refuge from where we are today. There is hope, we will go back to these days. Hope is all we could do.

That is SO cool, and one of the reasons I've always loved SWA so much! You are such a "forward thinking" airline who remembers that you are dealing with HUMANS who have the same needs and wants in the air, that we did on the ground, and hearing all we can of Mat and his band is BOTH a need AND a want! I know there were probably some strict guidelines as to what could and couldn't be played to be "respectful" of other beliefs but MAN it would have been awesome to have heard Mat singing on of HIS songs like "ships in the night" or "closer to love" and save some souls from 35,000 feet. Remember when Southwest Airlines used to be just the "worst of the worst", regarding flying and we only really put up with them because of the low fairs? Now they have the boarding thing far smoother so it's not so horrible, they don't have luggagge charges and they do cool stuff like this. --Mo Rage, the blog
