Southwire Tools: Amazing multitool Pliers

I have the 7-in-1 version of those pliers and they work great for what they are. They come close to Klein as far as their own version of Klein tools. I have a version of their linesman pliers, romex strippers, and forged strippers and they work great for what they are as well. Whether it be Menards or Amazon (where get them) they are descently priced for pliers. Klein tools are tops but these are not far behind for what they are. I love ideal, southwire, Milwaukee, Greenlee tools, as well as Klein pliers and tools but these (southwire) are not far behind.

Depends on the tools some are made in the USA some Taiwan

the point of the reamers is to de-bur after cutting conduit

Daniel Starnes yes indeed it removes any small pieces from the conduit and smooths it out. but it can also be used to slightly enlarge the hole. Thank you so much for commenting. lol i kept wanting to say debur but the word wouldn't come to mind.

A coworker has those, I prefer a standard reamer just hit both sides at once... Most of the work I do is 2" and above so I'll stick to my file lol.

Good review. Kinds looked like the blue barrel lug got crimped under the bare portion of the orange crimper. The 5 in 1 looks fantastic for an electrician. Wicked lopper on it. Plus NA made :)

Off topic, but just had an MRI on lower back & they asked me if I had any metal in my eyes. Apparently someone had a piece of metal behind their eye sever their optic nerve after it shifted due to magnetism during MRI. They had to X-ray my eyes first to be sure. If anyone needed extra incentive to remember their safety glasses!

asm154 1 ya I have heard of a few cases about the same thing and in order to actually remove the metal they had to use a magnet to remove it from the eye. that is crazy and yes safety glasses are extremely important.

Zach Wheatley I have knipex and they are great but southwire is far from garbage and a decent price.
