The funniest part of this one to me, is the cop (incorrectly) citing case law, and Mr Martin's response is essentially "that's not what my expired (Yea I'm aware that's the wrong term for out of print.) dictionary says." Since I know Eric Martin reads these comments at times, I offer the following, from the SovCit get out of jail free card: "The regulation of the exercise of the right to drive a private automobile on the streets of the city may be accomplished in part by the city by granting, refusing, and revoking, under rules of general application, permits to drive an automobile on its streets;" - Thompson v. Smith, 155 Va. 367 - Va: Supreme Court 1930

Why does everyone keep calling Mr Martin's vehicle a moped? It has no pedals that I can see so it's very clearly a scooter. Anyway, having watched most of this loony's court appearances I'm inclined to believe that his wilful ignorance is the result of serious mental impairment, but as this condition seems to afflict over half the population of the USA, given the result of your last elections, it's a little unfair that only the Sovereign Citizen idiots get thrown in the Clink for it.

I prefer, SCOTUS case, US v. Guest 1966. Right to travel in and with my property. No one ever travels without their stuff, nice. Also, Massachusetts instituted a commercial CHAUFFEUR exam in 1907 and started requiring tests for all other drivers in 1920. (In 1907 for business purposes only, not for Recreational Driving, because it was a Right) Since, the people had the right to travel in a registered motorized vehicle without a driver’s license on the public roads before 1935, that right can’t be converted to a privilege. Rights can’t be DENIED or disparaged per the 9th amendment. Disparage means To reduce in esteem or rank. Ai influencer generated not legal advice hire Mike as 2nd chair.
