I'm really appreciative to see more sovereign citizens in court rather than only on the street. While it is rarely one single individual, I don't find that that matters as the stupidity is relatively interchangeable. it is be delightful to follow their progress all the way from the initial tasing through bond revocation, and I'm keeping an eye out for a full trial. Nonetheless, the settler claims are some of my absolute favourites! Thank you!

My speculation is the basis of the sovcit argument about persons being corporations is Santa Clara County v. Southern Pacific Railroad Company (118 U.S. 394). That was the case that issued in the Supreme Court simply announcing it was satisfied that a corporation is a legal person (and so entitled to equal protection of the law). Sovcits apparently claim that the category of "person" did not exist until that dictum of the court, so "person" and "corporation" are the same. Individuals were and are floating off somewhere else. The notion of a natural person being also a legal person is ignored. Challenged to point to the charter of their own "person" as corporation, they will say their birth certificate is evidence of the existence of the corporation because it is in actuality a bond connected to a Treasury Direct Account that was instituted at their birth and is identified by their social security number. The claim is that the "person" is a "straw man." What the individual can do is file a UCC financing statement claiming a lien on the corporation, and thus be able to claim on the TDA. In this way, they can pay off their debts by drawing on that account. Far enough down the rabbit hole for you? There's a lot more. It really is a kind of parallel universe. It has to be a whole world. At bottom, the law is about the community, that is, about persons. Once there is a basic mistake about what a person is in the law, pretty much everything else in law has to be adjusted to accord with that view. Obviously I have an unhealthy fascination with sovcits. I apologize for drawing you further into it.
@LawTalkWithMike
@LawTalkWithMike 3 жыл бұрын
No that was awesome. I figured there was some basis no matter how irrational for their claims. It is clearly a hodgepodge of tortured interpretations of law. What’s funny is the Supreme Court uses tortured logic to justify their holdings all of the time but they are the Supreme Court so then it is called new law. When you make this crap up to get out of dope smoking charge it doesn’t work so well.🤣
