@@asamanthinketh5944 Sure. I'm a little bit confident in generic theism. But it seems good evidence is lacking for any specific formulation of a deity.

@Jeff M I implore you to read the Bible. Let God make himself known to you. It is he who changes hearts. Let him speak to you, Jeff. I’m an ex Muslim who found peace in Jesus Christ. As people who are fallen by nature through the sin of Adam, we can’t do good. As it says in *Romans 3: 10-13* “None is righteous, no, not one; 11 no one understands; no one seeks for God. 12 All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.” If we were to die right now without Christ as a scenario, wouldn’t you agree that we’ve done more bad in life than good? Man thinks himself to be good, but we sin almost every second of our lives. The wages of sin are death. Every time we lie, cheat, get angry at someone, Jesus said are punishable by hell. All sins lead to death unless paid for. Jesus either paid for yours on the cross, or you’ll pay for yours in eternal damnation. God would be 100% justified to send you or anyone else there. Even I, if it weren’t for God’s Grace, would be going there. We’ve all fallen short of the Glory of God. Only Christ, who is God, can save us from our sins. He is God. It’s all over the Bible *Isiah 42 :25* I, I am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake, and I will not remember your sins. *Hebrews 10: 17^ Then he adds, “I will remember their sins and their lawless deeds no more.” *Hebrews 8: 12* For I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more.” *Jeremiah 31: 34* And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.” *Acts 3: 19* Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, *John 3: 16* For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. *1 John 1: 7-9* But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. *1 John 2: 1-2* My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. *2 Timothy 2: 25-26* Correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will. *Matthew 5: 21-22* You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder; and whoever murders will be liable to judgment.’ 22 But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire. *My words below:* How can we as sinners face a perfect and glorious God? We can’t. Well, unless the Gospel is true *Romans 5* Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, 5 and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. 6 For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For one will scarcely die for a righteous person-though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die- 8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. 10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. 11 More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation. Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned- 13 for sin indeed was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not counted where there is no law. 14 Yet death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those whose sinning was not like the transgression of Adam, who was a type of the one who was to come. 15 But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if many died through one man's trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for many. 16 And the free gift is not like the result of that one man's sin. For the judgment following one trespass brought condemnation, but the free gift following many trespasses brought justification. 17 For if, because of one man's trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ. 18 Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men. 19 For as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous. 20 Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, 21 so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. *My words below:* We in Christ are at peace with the Lord. We are not under his wrath or condemnation. I implore you to read his word and follow Christ. Be baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Seek Jesus and you’ll find him. As a Christian, we don’t do good things to get saved, we do them because were saved. God changes hearts. He can change yours too. Believe that Jesus did these things and is the living God. Have peace with the Lord. It’s so beautiful I’m honestly tearing up writing about this right now. God bless you, Jeff. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to message back. I don’t mind

YOLO = incorrect. You live 3 times. 1. Your earthly mortal life. 2. Through your progeny as your life’s actions and legacy manifests itself through their lives and what they believe, and is evidenced by the lives they choose to live. Which can impact/influence the lives of distant generations beyond you, whether good or bad, not just your offspring. While each individual is personally accountable for their actions, do not discount just how far your life can go in determining the paths of your line of descendants. 3. Eternally, after your mortal body on this earth perishes.

Dr. White around the 5 minute mark said Luther couldn’t find peace in the “sacramental system” but would go on to find peace (of course mentioning Luther’s “gospel”). This simply isn’t true. Luther was constantly up and down throughout his life, sometimes staying in bed for weeks at a time in depression. He seemed to have some issues that he never dealt with, and they plagued him throughout his life. How Mr. White can say that Luther found peace is beyond me. He did not, and even his latest writings show that he remained as bitter, manic, and depressed (probably more so...see his writings on the Jews) as ever.

Scott, your view of what is and what is not anointing is questionable. You should not judge another Christian's status of anointing. Most people here appreciate his message.
