Evolution of state siverignity .. State as prime political institution represntationg a fixed population and territory engaged in 15 and 16 century Europe . The peace of westphalia in 1648 tell about the sovereignty of state State as absolute power in a particular population residing una particular territory no other state will interfere in their domestic internal or external matter . Rise of nationalism in 18 and 19 century there Due to which creation of nation state started .

Features of soverignity. Soverignity what makes the state is the prime actor in which have authority in a particular territory . Internal authority it is the fixed authority in a particular territory . yes, u may take them as same...though sovereignty implies a supreme authority- king, ruler- who is under dominion of no power- means in the given territory and over a given population no power is above the sovereign...in that sense state is a sovereign entity; state sovereignty is exercised by the govt/ruler of the state...
