Panamka has such a nice looks. Seems comfortable in heat too

It is quite nice, aside from the faux leather "sweatband". It seems the soviets interpreted the name quite literally.

4:55 You forgot the sought after Adidas sneakers which the Soviets would trade their standard issued boots for.
@warwickstephenson16133 ай бұрын
That's actually a misconception. While sneakers were prevalent during the conflict, boots were the most common form of footwear during the war. If sneakers were worn, they tendend to be soviet brands, like red triangles, for example. Moskvas were seen, but they were nowhere near as common

Tropical Obr.69 were the most used, however they are hard to find nowadays, but you can get a tailor to cut a regular one if you're determined enough. AK-74 is only good for early war, AKS would be better for any other (No AKSU, and just maybe AKMS if you're doing spetsnaz but the AKS is still the best choice) Chicom or self made rd-54 chestrig is good

I think kzs is confused for a chemical suit. Kzs is just a disposable cheap camouflage suit because klmk was fairly new and a stop gap till camo uniforms could be issued

Hello, i got one or two Questions about the Kit of Soviet Paratroopers. I am a Militaria Collector and okay Softair, and for one Game i wanted to Go for a Soviet Rambo Look. I got the M88 Afganka pants, kirza boots and a chestrig, also the small Gas mask pouch and Something exsotic, a Deactiveted RPG-18. I didnt find anything in the Internet so i wanted to ask If its historicaly correct do wear one. (Sorry for my Englisch, i an from Germany so its a Bit hard.)

Can we wear AK mag pouch along with chicom? Or is that just some reenactorism?
@ottoman_reenactor_ct4 ай бұрын
@@talytergoesplay7103 it’s the pouch or the chest rig not both Remember the more you carry the heavier your kit gets. You get slower and being slow is not a good thing
