The straps on the bottom of the chestrig are probably for the same purpose as on the Poyas-A, for the VOG rig, which was like a belt, which directly attached to the chestrig using these straps and D-Rings

As an American who's worked in Ukraine and Moldova and studied international peace and conflict resolution with a focus on post-Soviet conflicts, your videos are immensely fascinating. I consider myself a military enthusiast and I really love learning about the weapons, equipment and uniforms used in the conflicts you cover. During my master's program, I did a research project on the Chechen Wars and got distracted on several occasions going down the rabbit hole of military equipment. I also learned a lot about the Transnistrian War when I worked in Moldova, and subsequently did another research project on that topic when I was doing my master's. I was particularly fascinated to learn about the Transnistrian butan you talked about in this video. I'm not too surprised they produced equipment like that in Transnistria given their industry background in Moldova and the conflict they had in 1992. Very fascinating stuff! Please don't stop making these videos.

@@RedIvanMilitaryEng Sorry for the late reply, but I'm honored to hear from you! Thank you for your positive response! Indeed, it was very fascinating to study international peace and conflict resolution in grad school. I did a research project on the Georgian Civil War and the 2008 Russian Invasion of Georgia for one of my classes. Do you plan to do any videos on the uniforms and equipment from the Georgian conflicts at any point?
