Yeah, I have to thrive on hand-me-downs and Amazon scammers 😆. I figure I hold the cards on that, so if they try to pull one over on me, I'll get my money back and take advantage of free prime returns 😉. The peripheral companies have been so awesome, though. I can't give away all of my secrets just yet, but I picked up 3 more sponsors for my chiron build and it's going to boost that video series to the moon! Bigtreetech has been my biggest supporter and I'm truly grateful for their confidence in me. Same goes for Antclabs, Kinluot, Yoopai, Slice Engineering (after much convincing 🤣) and the 3 that I'll be announcing in a really exciting chiron video. @@Painindaazz unfortunately, the 07 went back to the Golden land. The slamascammer never sent me my refund, so I destroyed their reputation on social media 😅. I did learn enough about the machine to make me dangerous, though. I've heard good things about the kobra, but all of these companies are using these weird, bastardized versions of klipper and doing more harm than good. The saving grace of the 07 was that the screen could be separated from the machine and you could run a more reliable Linux device to operate it, but at that point, just get an 06 and upgrade it yourself. Same with the Neptune 4, just get a 3 and klipper it yourself. It's a more reliable way of doing it and you aren't limited to proprietary nozzles

Detailed analysis rather than "I like this I don't like that" is fantastic. Looking forward to that next secret video, also I have a Kobra 2 Pro (the newest version just released, not the bog standard Kobra2 ) coming and I know you don't have this new printer but wondering if you could take a look at the specs of the board and if it is possible to replicate your Klipper expertise on that printer also. Nice unboxing!! How far does the print table move to the rear in respect to how far away from a wall? Looking to purchase a solid heavy duty stable work bench or table with drawers; need a good depth measurement. Thanks in advance!!

My table is 25" deep and all of the plus machines I've had need to have the front of the machine practically touching the front of the table for the heat bed to clear the wall. Not an exact measurement, but that should get you started. Can't give you any exact numbers because I sent the sovol back to the motherland.

I have the Elegoo Neptune 3 Max, it is a good printer and huge bed. But the thing I wished to see it have was a all metal hot end of 300 C and Klipper with input shaping so the huge bed could really print fast and detailed. I was very upset that only a couple of months after I brought it Elegoo went and released the Neptune 4 Max, which has those two features I wish to have? I already paid out allot of money on my Neptune 3 Max and Elegoo did the new version of it for the same money but with those two features. Damn it all. I not going to pay again that amount plus I don't have the spare room now as my Neptune 3 Max already dominates the room where the 3 other small printers are! I ended up having to pay out for a BTT Pad 7 and now have the pain of trying to set up klipper for the Max I have? Not easy to do as I found and I am not a person who knows all about codes and klipper stuff. Now Elegoo are launching a massive new core xy 3d printer on kick starter called OrangeStorm Mega. It is over the top in size and has klipper and can have 5 heads. The printable sizes is 800 mm by 800 mm by 1000 mm and 300 mm / s speeds. And at $1250 on kick starter for the 1st 1200 buyers and they have to pay like $100 shipping. I would have liked them to made it smaller like say 500 mm square printing size.

It's not a core machine, it's overhead cartesian, so you can rest easy knowing that. As far as the pad7, all it takes is a few simple steps to load a firmware file, paste a config and set a serial address. I have half a dozen videos on how to do it and a huge community on both Facebook and Reddit to assist you. The 4 has had issues, so don't feel bad.

Would this be good for a beginner? I want to get a 3d printer but im scared of tinkering ideally something which is 90% ready to go 10% just being assembly. I was looking at Neptune 3pro but the bigger bed on this got me looking at sv07

Sv07, Neptune 4 plus and Sidewinder X4 plus are all similar machines. They all have their good and bad. Any printer you get in this price point will eventually require some tinkering
