I have not seen him, glad the words of Johnny are still out there. A night club under table mountain in sight of robben island in 1984, a mostly white audience with police in the shadows wondering if we would be arrested (we are not). Everyone present knew apartheid days were numbered.

I'm a recent fan of The Soweto Gospel Choir who just found out that the female singer NOZIPHO KONATE has died. May her soul rest in peace.

I love this song so so much I could listen to it again and again. Your language sounds very beautiful and your voices are in perfect harmony. Also I am sad to read that one of your members passed away some time ago. May she rest in peace.

Long time family friend Soweto Gospel Choir.. Found out today Nozipho restesd, and I'm just depressed. Such a sweet, charming lady. Rest in peace with the Angels. Your voice will forever be cherished. Rest in Peace sister.

Voices aside she is pure beauty, on top of being my favourite member. Literally just realised she had passed years ago. Awful to hear. Peace to you x. This world is a cruel place

I love this song! Beautiful! Thank you. What do the African words mean? Does anyone know where to get a choral arrangement ( sheet music) for this?
