Good luck with the stubble turnips 🤞 interesting grass seed barrow that being pto driven 🤔 up here ours were on wheels and land driven and folded up for transport as it was twice the width of yours and we dragged a window sash weight from each end to give us a mark to follow 🙄 and to adjust seed rate it was just variable slides which for sowing grass seed the slides has to be opened the thickness of a normal pencil 📝😂 we have had this last week a few hours every day of good rain 🌧️👍

Would have been a nice job for the 35 😊. We had a land -driven grass seeder converted from a human powered wheelbarrow model, worked well on the 35. Another excellent video. Good luck with the crop.

With the dry summers we are getting i can see crops like spring sown turnips gaining popularity. I know they used to be grown a lot more in the past.

I've had 51mm rain in June still dry it has greened up but not really growing yet. I had planned turnips after 1st cut but it was so dry I abandoned the idea. Some of the winter barley is looking absolutely awful. Another year to forget!

I am from the Irish Midlands sowed my fodder beet 15th of May got 5mm of rain a week later was wored about it until 10 days ago when we got 30mm of thunder rain ⛈️ in few hours the crop has transformed since didn't get a great kill on the weeds but good enough that crop will keep ahead

I prefer older gear to some of the new stuff. That being said, that seeder isn't ideal but it beats broadcasting seed by hand!

Hope it germinates. On the subject of GPS etc, it looked according to the drone footage that you were getting some overlap. What I fail to understand is this, all the big arable boys swear by GPS as it prevents overlapping, cuts down the number of runs therby saving fuel etc, but then the operator leaves the engine running for long periods of time when it is not moving. Personally, I can't get my head around this ??
