nika is my favorite player in any sport. a real point guard not god forbid another combo guard. she leads the defense ,pushes the pace and distributes the ball. think about it. rizzotti,bird,taurasi,jefferson,dangerfield and paige but nika holds the one game record for assists. beautiful !

@@cassieh.1950 when has that happened? she is more than a threat as a playmaker and defender. how many points has she created with steals and passes. if she were replaced by a combo guard like azzi the team would suffer. and so would azzi. forget about those other guards they're not playing. nika is it pure and simple.

Nika has matured so much, and this team no matter who is on the floor plays with a grit I hadn't seen in a while from Uconn. Kudos to the players and coaches for dealing with change as well as they have.
