I freaking love this!!! I love this woman! It's so cool seeing new vegan spots pop up that break free of the super healthy, salad and granola days of veganism. We're seeing more diversity of foods in the vegan market that appeal to more people. She's hitting the bullseye with this place. Thanks for sharing her restaurant with us! I'll be ordering some cheeses from her for my wedding this summer.

The true Italian language as what is taught in schools and spoken on the news, etc. is to enunciate each letter of the word. So Mozzarella is pronounced exactly as written and how we pronounce it here in English but with the rolling R's. Words are never truncated except for in dialects usually in southern Italian regions but even there, they are taught the correct way in schools. But her food does look delicious and I'd like to go there and try it one day!

I don't live in Philly anymore, but I have visited and they have amazing vegan options (like V Street, HipCityVeg, Blackbird Pizzeria, Dotties Donuts. There are probably more but it's been awhile). I would check out Happy Cow and Instagram (like @phillyvegans). But vegan Italian? I am not sure. Do you have IG? I would contact @phillyvegans and ask them. Sorry I am not more helpful!

Than-q for sharing this wonderful venue and the amazing women running it. Too many assume “vegan” means eating rabbit food. While that is one option, there are so many incredible foods being made by people wanting to eat what they miss from their pre-vegan lives, but cruelty free and healthy. Wow this is amazing!! My family is Italian (I'm 3rd generation American) and it'd be so cool to try out this place with them. And I was so happy to see the authentic Italian food she's making because a lot of places claim to be Italian but make dishes that aren't even found in Italy. Wow, I really wanna go. Wow this is one of the most incredible things I've ever seen on KZbin. I come from an Italian family and it has been SUCH a challenge to be vegan when I'm around my Nana's famous meatballs.
