Thank Rekhta to promote this message of Humanity through performing art of Soz-Khani.. Mr. Naqvi have great intend and impact towards the justice to the voice he have developed depicting the Event of Karbala. Only one advise to him (Mr.Naqvi) that, he dont use any salutation when taking name of Nabi e Akram a.s and its Ahle Bait a.s. All time during explaining the situation or events in KArbala, he dont use salutation to Imam Hussain a.s or other Ahle Bait. I kindly request him to make this use in his story-telling skills, as this message is spearding so it should be done in proper way, as it is meant to be. Regards.

It is similar to what would happen to a carvan travelling and attacked by bandits will that be a war, no that will be a struggle against the bandits. And yes the carvan had escorts but can that be called an army ? maybe it can be but my objection was just to make it more clear for people to know. I have heard and seen people attributing aggression and greed (may allah forgive me for even saying this) these things which are a false accusation on the high and noble Imam and not historic or reasonable. My intention were not to demean the poet but just to put this out.

Too long an introduction, which was not needed, followed by only a single voice narrating the story in a half-sung voice. The recital was also too slow to hold the listener's attention or to make an impact This is an example of half measures losing their efficacy because of traditional Islam's reluctance with using music for religious purposes. Music, especially that which may be accompanied with instruments, is regarded as either outright Haram, or makrooh or bid'at etc. Would there have been any harm if a group of people with trained voices had recited this soze in a proper chorus with a musical drone providing the backdrop? The majority of nohas, soze etc are chorused by people who are outright "budgulu", i.e. having wretched out of tune voices, with no training or understanding of what is involved in singing in key. And you want me to be impressed? I come from a Shia background but have long ceased to pay any attention.

This guy Askari Naqvi is a self confessed athiest, still we Shian e Haider are entertaining such people in our majlis matam... In an interview he said "Religiously i dont have to do anything with waqa e karbala, i percieve this as a musical charm and an artform".. thats why this guy doesnt pay any respect to Sozkhwani
