We were staying with family in Burgas Bulgaria, and this was just a day trip, but yes, they do have a lot of really nice hotels and even some resorts in the area! 😀

@sophiebrousseau7974 you can really do either! It's a short bus ride from Burgas so it's easy to do as a day trip. Getting a hotel overnight would be nice though to really soak up the atmosphere and not rush.

The beach at Sozopol doesn't have activities like tennis or volleyball. As you saw in the video, the water can get rough, and they stop you from swimming. The beach you've been going to in Burgas is more family-friendly for activities, but Sozopol is beautiful and historical to visit. It's worth going to see and an easy bus ride from Burgas!

I also consider myself a good swimmer (i am also a part of the bulgarian special forces )but this under water currants can be so strong that i am having goosebumps right now remembering how they start pulling me in to the deep waters and i barely escaped between two waves so this red flag is not a joke at all this is a serious stuff that took the life of many confident swimmers....you know what they say,that even the best mushroom specialist can die from a poison one and here the case is similar😂

hello. 1question - you find some beach with shalow [ family] waters ? i leave in burgas 2 years to study and offer inspiration to sea garden park .. [ there will be big tourist future.. ] - thanks [ i know only about the sea garden beach i visit every day.. - i dont go to other places..

We love Burgas Beach because that is where my wife grew up because she was born there. Lots of restaurants, sports and water activities, but if you don't mind crowded beaches and maybe some crazy parties going on the Water at Sunny beach was actually very clear and Shallow and there is a lot to fo there.
