(SP05 EP07) I-15 South, the Ontario Freeway

This is a run along I-15 South in San Bernardino County and Riverside County, along the Ontario Freeway, from just south of the I-215 junction near the Cajon Pass, to beyond the CA 91 junction in Corona.

Nice ride through the concrete jungle that is Southern California. Concrete is far less common on European freeways, many countries have phased it out, only a small number are still building concrete freeways today.

Thanks! I personally prefer new asphalt, something about new black top is very appealing. This concrete was okay, the segment I came across on the I-215/CA 60 duplex was quite bumpy, but still enjoyable.

European Roads yeah same here, most highways here are asphault with a few exceptions (surprisingly the new Centreport Canada Way is concrete). Roads that are designed almost exclusively with trucks in mind up here seem to be made of concrete. The rest are Asphault.

LA is so much fun to drive through. The interchange between I15 and the 91 Freeway is really going to be something once it's all finished.

Oh, I know it's good fun, accounting for traffic of course. Not sure when I can get back to SoCal again, odds are I'll do a San Diego/Los Angeles mashup if I get the opportunity to. CA 91 is definitely a route on the next list.

I don't know if I could live in a place that was sunny nearly all the time. Too much sunlight tends to agitate me, and I often like overcast gloomy rainy days, and the meloncholy mood that comes with them. Nice video.😎

Some clouds can be interesting and overcast days can be used to film in any direction, but I personally prefer a clear summer day, natural sunlight makes a video quite vibrant without having to artificially improve it. I personally prefer warmer climates too once I'm adapted, makes me feel more productive. Thanks for watching!

Thanks! It was fairly open, if the day was clear I would have been able to see farther. Thankfully I reacted quickly and moved over prior to that slowdown, it was nothing compared to what I hit on I-215 later that day.
