I coincidentally happened to be there that day at the Heritage Center. They were cleaning the coaches and had the big Lima Northern under steam. It was an amazing sight.

Gary, I always enjoy your work because you seem to get shots that most others do not. My daughter and I took that excursion and it was probably the most seat time we’ve experienced on the several trips taken together behind 4449. However, I’ve been traveling behind that beautiful locomotive since the 1990’s and will probably continue to do so as I near my 75th birthday.
