God it's amazing how far our community has come. I remember stumbling upon ASMR around 2011 when I was a freshman in high school. Just coming across all of these amazing content creators that have grown so much since.

I have heard a lot of people complaining about the white noise sound in the background, but I love it. I find that type of sound very relaxing and somewhat soothing. I love the sound of an air conditioner running, or the hum of a refridgerator or washing machine. I even like the sound of t.v. fuzz if its turned down low. And I think I like these sounds because when I was a little kid during the night, I would fall asleep to the sound of either a heater or an a.c., depending on the season, and I now find that white noise sound calming. I defenintly think the noise makes the video better.

Back when I was looking for relaxing *anything* online during a stressful time (I didn't even know what ASMR was) in the summer of 2013 I stumbled upon this video, along with a video from GentleWhispering, VeniVidiVulpes and Ariel ASMR. This video still holds a very special place in my heart. No matter how you progress, where ASMR takes us in general (as it increases in popularity) this video will always... What I've noticed in the year-and-a-half of watching ASMR videos is that the technology (and the asmrtist's ability to utilitze it) has increased exponentially and VERY quickly. Back in the summer of 2013 when I first saw this video, this was one of the quieter ones out there, believe it or not.

a couple of things, now that I listened to this about 5 times (okay, I can't get enough, but these things bother me). They're basically about skin care order: 1) warm skin with towel, use a mild cleanser to get makeup/oil off the face - this will open up pores so you can clean them out. (warm = opens pores) 2) use any masks or other goop 3) make sure mask is off, with more warm towels 4) use the astringent to close the pores 5) moisturize Also: keep it up! you're great!
