Love, love micro-needling! I had never heard of it til I found Kim’s app! It’s a game changer! I wish I could try melanotan one or two but we have a family history of melanoma so I believe it’s contraindicated. 😢

Thank you, Kelly! 😊 I really appreciate your kindness. If there’s a history of skin cancer, there’s definitely more to consider. That said, I’m quite fair-skinned, which puts me at high risk for skin cancer regardless. The MT2 was developed by the University of Arizona to help protect fairer skin from the sun and shield our cells from UV rays. In 10 years, I might develop skin cancer, but it’s hard to say if it would be due to using MT2 or just my fair skin. Many users are fair-skinned, which already puts them at a higher risk. My UV allergy became so severe that using MT2 was my best option to protect my skin from harmful UV rays, rather than relying on steroids. Ultimately, there are risks, but the alternative-allowing harmful UV exposure-was even worse for my skin.

I’ve never used the terminator bc years ago that company was crazy and threatened to sue me if I tested their pen and said anything negative about it. Obviously, I never tested it so I can’t tell you which is better or how they compare

On the melanotan, do you have to continue to use it and continue to go outside in the sun to keep the color or once you reach your desired color, can you just use the melanotan without much sun exposure to maintain your color? Hope that makes sense.

To maintain you still need to trigger melanin otherwise the lower cell levels won’t coat and color. The peptide doesn’t make color on its own, you still need uv exposure to trigger it
