Is this event just like expose your ideas or you need to do the prototype? Can you get there with your project done? I have that doubt. I`m intrested to participated this year but I`m not sure if it`s just like an brainstorms event.

The goal is to actually produce a prototype. But you shouldn't come there with an already finished project. The idea is to form a team and produce something in the given time

Did you stay the whole nights working on it? My mom told me in this competition usually they spend 2 days working on it

We didn't stay up the whole night. Some groups did. It all depends on how serious you take it.
