Sounds like Valeria in Space with knobs on - but that's not a bad thing... I love that aspect of Valeria ;-)

I like the new mechanics that this adds to Machi Koro style gameplay. With that said, it would likely never make it to the table while I have Valeria: Card Kingdoms in my collection; the Mico's artwork makes quite an amazing presence. Thanks, MvM.

So Machi Koro meets Dice City but a bit more going on and more player interaction. Definitely interested wish I was a fan of the artwork/design. I like the 80s saturday morning cartoon aesthetic but the rainbow look is overwhelming on the table.

It's distinct for sure, but it doesn't really hit you over the head with it.

Looks like a great game. Does anyone know the difference between the red and black box? For some reason I have seen them in both colors.

So, we picked this one up and Played it a couple of days ago for the first time. Having trouble with the cube cards. If I roll a 3 and have a card with one cube there, do I put the cube on it, and also us it on the same turn? The ones with multiple cubes you have to wait for it to fill before you use it? Thanks

Give the rule book a good thorough read. It's almost ALL in there. With that said, the ones that have little links between the cube spots require to collect them before firing off the ability (note that these quantities vary depending on player count). Others can be used as soon as you have a single cube (note that some of these have multiple charges that can be collected). If a card is filled with cubes, it cannot hold another cube until the ability has been activated, and thereby removing the cube that was already placed. Hope any of that helps.

hearing good things about this, think someone in our gaming group has a copy. was at first put off by art, but on closer look like it.

I personally really like the art, but this game doesn't really showcase that. It's just so engaging every turn.

This looks like a fun and mechanically interesting game. Unfortunately, the art style with its rainbow 80s feel turns me off (just like Dinosaur Island). I would love to see both this and Dinosaur Island done with alternative artwork that doesn't feel like it is about to induce a seizure.

45minutes...I wish it played in that time. Have played with 3,4,5 players and each time it was 75+ minutes. Fun game, but it's too long for what it is :(

Don’t play with 5 players. Took us 90 minutes. Dragged. Was good with 3 players.

I'm a fan of these guys and the channel, but it is a legitimate criticism that oftentimes they (especially Jeremy) lack emotion and energy. Hopefully they take the feedback and improve on this!
